Samantha began dancing at the age of 4, training in ballet and contemporary at School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) under various notable teachers from 2014 to 2017. At 17, she joined Singapore Ballet’s Pre-Professional Scholars Programme guided under Janek Schergen, Rosa Park, and Chihiro Uchida. Under the Scholars Programme, Samantha had the opportunity to participate in Singapore Ballet’s productions like The Nutcracker, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, as well as Ballet Under the Stars.
Samantha has also completed The Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD) classical ballet syllabus with Honours on the final Advance Level examination. Additionally, she has performed in nationwide events such as Singapore’s National Day Parade in 2016 and the 28th Southeast Asian Games Opening Ceremony in 2015 under the guidance of Jeffrey Tan.
